WHO IS KL?
Katherine, otherwise known as Laney, Toots, Dolly or KL to her mates, is a self-confessed, hopeless romantic who can and will marry you up, right nice!
Born and bred in Melbourne, but more than willing to travel, KL is known for her bubbly, warm and vibrant nature, as well as her ability to quote from FRIENDS, Te Lasso or just about any rom-com or 90’s film…her favourite is Labyrinth though, thanks for asking. David Bowie was a real vibe!
With a background in cancer nursing, KL has worked in healthcare for over 17 years, and for the last 17, her day job has seen her working hard to improve access to information and support for those with health and disability-related needs – a cause very close to her heart.
KL feels most at home when she has a mic in her hand, and is one of those rare ladies who has come to love public speaking – often being asked over the years to MC, host and present, thanks to her natural ability to speak from the heart, and with a truckload of passion and authenticity. With a knack for engaging with people and putting an audience at ease, this is where her love of story telling was born.
KL is a down-to-earth and genuine ‘lover of love’ in all its forms. When she’s not busy hitching Lovers, she can be found spending time with mates, road tripping, travelling, beaching, carpool karaoke-ing (badly), scoffing chicken nuggets, squeezing her niece and nephew and patting ALL the doggos. She loves a dance floor and can and will bust some serious dance moves anytime a d-floor appears (and 5, 6, 7, 8 )!

Lovers Lane is for couples who want to take a minute to get a little bit nostalgic. Our goal is to remind you of why you chose to get married in the first place. There will be happy tears, a lot of laughs, and most importantly, a hell of a lot of LOVE. We promise that you and your lover will not only leave your ceremony pumped and ready for the celebrations to follow but ready to party into your future together as loved-up newlyweds.

If you like what you see, let’s get you locked in! Just pay a small booking fee and you can consider Lovers Lane all yours for your big day!
As we get closer to the day, let’s lock in a time for a drink to get your paperwork sorted and to start planning your ceremony. FUN.
We’ll send you your questionnaires, designed to give us all we need to know about you to create your one-of-a-kind ceremony. If you’re going to include personal vows to each other, we can also help you out with some tips to get you started if you’re not so much ‘with the words’ (optional)
Now you’ve done your bit, it’s over to us…you can sit back and relax while we work our magic!
A week or two before your big day, we’ll arrange one last optional meeting (in person, or over zoom) to check-in and make sure you’re feeling calm, confident and across the specifics. Any last questions? Fire away.
